Kearny Pearson Ford / Kia is looking for an individual with excellent customer service skills to work in the parts department as a Parts Cashier. The ideal candidate will greet customers in a friendly manner, answer questions, and provide a friendly experience for all customers, addressing any challenges that may arise.
*Process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks for the Parts department.
*Greet customers in a pleasant and professional manner, computing and recording transaction totals.
*Reconciles cash drawer daily.
*Refers customers who have questions to the appropriate individual.
*Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution.
*Provides clerical and administrative assistance as needed.
*Will be cross trained on credit writing.
*Maintains a professional appearance.
*Keeps work area neat and clean.
*Performs other duties as assigned.
At least 6 months of cash handling experience is preferred but we will consider training the right person. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
