We are looking for a special candidate to join our Design Team. The primary function of the Design Assistant position is to assist the designers and Commercial Sales department with projects in order to meet deadlines and accomplish goals. This position is responsible to work with builders and others businesses to increase overall revenue for the showrooms and the company.
The Design Assistant assists with organizing incoming materials such as towels, dishes, wall paper, fabrics, light fixtures and many small accessory items necessary for project. Organizes and is responsible for our warehouse space and all inventory. This position is responsible for keeping supplies and materials in stock for projects in our warehouse, in addition Our Design assistant attends installations and helps the team place furniture in proper locations with service techs. Places all accessories, stages all closets, makes all beds, and places all additional items necessary for projects. Hangs all art work and mirrors on site. Drives company vehicle as needed to assist with installations.
The Design Assistant position is a part-time position and it requires to work a flexible 32 plus hour work week, in a corporate office environment, at showrooms, at project sites, at clients’ design centers and vendor showrooms.
