Registered Member Relationship Associate

SUMMARY: Responsible for all back-office support of the Financial Advisors (FA’s) including building and maintaining prospective and current client relationships through excellent customer service, organization and attention to detail. General working knowledge of investment industry with the ability to conduct necessary conversations, to place trades, and provide full account maintenance for clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Calling investment services clients to schedule appointments and reviews.
  • Profile referrals for qualification and set appropriate appointments with assigned Financial Advisors.
  • Service, manage and resolve client maintenance issues with high level of attention to detail, courteousness and in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Provide FA’s operational support with paperwork, client calls, all paperwork related maintenance and other operational needs as requested.
  • Assist in processing and resolving operational items, including not in good order processing, status inquiries, communication, and general support for FA’s
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the appropriate online and in-house resources.
  • Assist in the implementation of ongoing marketing initiatives for the department.
  • Look for and assist in process improvements and efficiencies where applicable
  • Placing trades on client accounts per client and FA instructions accurately with verification of instructions.
  • Answering incoming questions from branch staff and other departments regarding investment services and client accounts, as needed.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) is preferred.
  • High computer competency & experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred, but not required.
  • Active Series 7 and 63 licenses, or the ability to successfully pass and obtain the Series 7 license under a condition of employment
  • Previous investment industry experience preferred
