We are currently hiring a Senior Consultant to join the Enterprise Innovation and Business Partnerships Team with the Retail Pharmacy. The position will help support Enterprise-wide product innovation with our partners in other business units, help drive customer growth through acquisitions, and help to form new business partnerships by accentuating retail growth and optimizing CVS pharmacy’s execution in performance based networks. As a key member of the pharmacy acquisitions team, the Senior Consultant will play a meaningful role in driving research, identification, prioritization, and testing of critical initiatives that will help patients on the path to better health.

This role will primarily support the growth of patient retention in new store acquisition and file-buy scenarios, along with opportunities to support additional initiatives within the broader growth portfolio.

The Senior Consultant will be engaged across all phases of new product/service development and management, with particular emphasis on solution ideation, design, testing, and driving continuous improvement. This position will be a key contributor to help facilitate the execution of pilot programs and/or legacy product offerings. Examples include collaborating across the Enterprise to help document and streamline processes, drive execution of initiatives that impact retention for current and future acquisitions, participating in the development and testing of innovative service offerings, and providing operational support on key focus areas.

Required Qualifications
1+ years of consulting or related experience
Previous healthcare experience preferred

The ideal candidate will have strong independent leadership skills, as well as analytical and communication skills. In addition, the individual must be able to independently interact with and influence a wide range of senior stakeholders and demonstrate a consistence track record of delivering results.

2) Analytical Rigor: Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative portfolio and growth analysis
3) Strong Interest in Health Care: A history of work in the health care industry and/or an ongoing desire to make one of the world’s strongest health care companies even stronger
4) Powerful Communication Skills: The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a diverse range of constituents, both verbally and on paper, and with all levels of an organization.
5) Initiative: Ability to think creatively and be a self-starter
7) Influence: The ability to foster effective working relations with and persuade diverse business leaders based on fact and reason with an emphasis on achieving tangible results
8) Detail Oriented: Highest level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
8) Advanced Skills: with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software, including a strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
9) Travel: ability to travel to markets as required (20-30%)
