Description:

Provide support and assistance to the Operations Manager and Chief Operations Officer in the administration and management of the studio.

Responsibilities:

Develop detailed tracking mechanisms for analyzing the studio's operational goals in accounting and operations. Provide information to management team for decision making. Solid communication skills and self-driven, tenacious follow through are expected. Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

Management Accounting

Assist setting spending budgets/targets

Integrating data from company systems into Excel reports

Code purchasing data

Analyze spending results for variances, cost savings, studio needs

Write macros for financial reporting

Track expense report reimbursements

Operations

Help purchase, track items and services through purchase orders and expense reports

Work with vendors for best pricing

Ensure quality of goods and services purchased

Work on facility needs in the studio - studio build out, maintenance, seating and team groupings

Scope of the Position

Will involve interaction with all levels of Activision personnel on a variety of issues ranging from low to very high priority and at varying levels of confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Education:

BA in Business or Finance with a strong academic record

Relevant work experience

Skills and/or requirements:

Able to communicate results clearly both visually and verbally

Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Background in Finance or Accounting

Proven skills in problem solving, project and event coordination

Excel modeling skills preferred

Interest and willingness to become knowledgeable in the Interactive Entertainment industry, and the methodologies used in the development of video games.

Able to prioritize work and problem solve independently and get quality results on time

Determination to hit a high quality bar
